This is to share some news about two of my books, both of which have essays and chapters related to restoration, tree planting, and more broadly about trees and conservation. Just sharing here as it may be of wider interest.
One book is new and is just out! The Trees of My Country: A Natural History of India in 50 Trees has essays on 50 native trees from across India and is accompanied by beautiful paintings by the talented artist, Manali Patil. Do read it to and enjoy the artwork. The covers attached and blurbs give you a preview of the art and what the book is about.
Also, my previous book The Wild Heart of India is now available in a revised edition in paperback with some new essays including three on restoration, trees, and tree planting.
