As part of the Green Rural Livelihoods (GRL) work, we are collecting resources on ‘how to manage dry waste in rural areas?’
These will go up on the GRL platform’s knowledge repository and can be used by organisations who are running waste management programs in rural India.
We’re looking at 3 levels at which we need to deal with the solid/dry waste being generated:
- Households
- Community based organisations
- Gram Panchayats
We’re sending out this request for any resources related to this; if you think any urban models could also be adapted easily for this use case, that would be very helpful as well.
