India generated 4.1 MT of plastic waste in FY21, enough to fill up 1,130 trucks every day of that year. Yet, India favours a softer approach that only addresses plastic pollution, without controlling the production.

We as a nation are in hyper-growth mode and we can’t eliminate the use of plastic for certain use cases for certain sections of society. And Policies are supposed to be for the benefit and aligned with the majority.
