Umm… Do we really need to reduce plastic usage? Isn’t it all getting recycled now?

Great explainer!

I’ve also been wondering how that 95% number for PET is arrived at. The volume of those bottles out there lying uncollected, including in remote places with no collection, is not tiny and the cost of picking and transporting them to recycling centers would clearly be prohibitive.
