Output 1: Consolidation and Dissemination of Knowledge
The animated film documenting Timbaktu Collective’s 35-year journey entered post-production, with a release planned for the next financial year. Additionally, 28 social media posts were made to disseminate knowledge. The 32nd edition of the children’s magazine Chinnari Nestham was published covering a wide range of topics including literature, child rights, ecology, logical reasoning, general knowledge, and drawings.
Networking efforts of the Collective are undertaken to share the organisation’s work over the years which included the following activities: participation in the Asian Biodynamic conference, Nepal; interactions with Mr Budithi Rajasekhar, IAS, Special Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh; a collaborative field visit with the Nammazhvar Society. Furthermore, the Collective hosted 189 visitors from NGOs, researchers, and farmer groups to learn about its cooperative models, community programmes, and organic demonstration farm.
A capacity-building session was conducted for the leadership team on organisational development, focusing on interpersonal relationships and culture. A team from the Collective engaged in external learning, including an ecological walk conducted by Upstream Ecology, Nilgiris. Two research studies were initiated to establish a comprehensive baseline for all the enterprise units.
