The Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, in partnership with the Rainmatter Foundation, hosted the sixth episode of THE GREEN MANDATE, a series of conversations on emerging issues in law and policy aspects of environmental conservation. The theme for this episode was the Reserve Bank of India’s recently released discussion paper on Climate Risk and Sustainable Finance. Mr Bahram Vakil (Founding Partner, AZB & Partners) and Mr Mohit Shukla (Managing Director, Legal and Lead India Regulatory and Government Relations, Barclays India) were the main speakers for the event. It was hosted by Debanshu Mukherjee (Co-Founder, Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy) and Jinaly Dani (Senior Resident Fellow and Lead, Vidhi Maharashtra).

The event was attended by senior officials from leading banks, nonprofits, architects facilitating green architecture, lawyers, company secretaries, law students and media professionals. We thank everyone for their participation and hope to build on this to do more work at the intersection of finance and the environment.
