Hello! We invite you to read our latest newsletter for April to June 2024. This edition highlights our efforts to address India’s extreme heat. Our focus has been dual-fold: advocating for enhanced heat planning, specifically targeting the vulnerabilities of the poorest and most heat-exposed communities, and exploring avenues to mobilize public finance for implementing these strategies.
In the past quarter, we also looked at the combined impacts of heat and air pollution on public health. In addition, we proposed sustainable alternatives to crop residue burning and assessed the readiness of India’s states for the energy transition in the buildings sector.
We look forward to your feedback and comments on our work! SFC Quarterly Update | India's Extreme Heat; Solutions to Crop Residue Burning; Unpacking Climate Policy & More
