With the support of Rainmatter Foundation, Waste Warriors organised an event to bring together CSOs, motivated individuals, community initiatives, think tanks and partners working in the Indian Himalayan Region towards solving the waste crisis in the Indian Himalayan Region.
The Summit aimed to:
- Showcase rural and urban waste management models deployed by Waste Warriors in Dharamshala and Bir, Himachal Pradesh
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and share our learnings on critical functions and processes including monitoring and evaluation, fundraising, communications, and model-building
- Foster collaboration in the waste management sector in the mountainous states
