The 19th edition of the Sense N Sensibility (SNS), a lecture series that aims to share a holistic understanding of concepts, systems, and processes in ACED and allied fields, held on 22nd August 2025, was no ordinary beginning. It was the first session under the Ethos Arcause and Rainmatter partnership. And what a start it was!
The lecture brought together two inspiring voices: Ar. Zeenat Niazi, who spoke about turning challenges into opportunities by embedding circularity into design, and Ar. Pooja Khairnar, who reminded us that the best solutions are those that grow out of context, community, and inclusivity. Together, their ideas challenged us to think beyond “what looks good” and move toward “what makes a lasting difference.”
What made the session even more exciting was the energy of the participants. Students and institutions across India tuned in—with around 1,058 registrations on Acedge, some even streamed it live for entire classrooms. The questions, reflections, and discussions showed us a generation that is not just curious but ready to act—ready to design for a future that cares.
The next lecture is set for October 2025, and we can’t wait to see more young voices join in. After all, the future of design isn’t only about buildings and products—it’s about
reimagining how we live, together.
