A bamboo training program was organized from 16-19 November. In line with Shivganga’s core vision of promoting sustainable livelihoods, self-reliance, and conservation of natural resources, the training focused on empowering rural and tribal youth through bamboo-based skills.
Participants were trained in bamboo product making, proper use of tools, and avenues for self-employment. Hands-on sessions enabled them to create simple bamboo products while also understanding the importance of sustainable use of forest resources. The program served as a meaningful step toward skill development, economic empowerment, and community-led sustainable development.
Animal Husbandry Training
Shivganga organised an Animal Husbandry Training 5th October 2025, bringing together 85 rural youths from 31 villages for hands-on livelihood training.
The workshop was led by Dr. Gayaprasad Ji Jatav, who delivered practical, field-based guidance on animal daily management, scientific housing practices, balanced feed and nutrition, and the identification and treatment of common animal diseases.
Special focus was placed on poultry farming, goat rearing, and cattle rearing—key village-based livelihood options with strong income potential.
This training stands out as a results-oriented initiative, empowering rural youth with skills, confidence, and a clear pathway to sustainable livelihoods.
Organic Farming Training
On 31 October 2025, Shivganga organized a one-day Organic Farming Training Programme for farmers, with the participation of 75 farmers. The training was conducted by Shivganga’s agricultural expert, Mr. Shivam Ji Vajpayee, who provided detailed knowledge on crop diseases caused by pests and demonstrated the preparation and application of organic remedies for their prevention.
The programme also included comprehensive guidance on preparing organic manure. Practical, hands-on training was conducted using the organic beds at the Shivganga Training Centre. The initiative significantly enhanced farmers’ understanding of sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices while promoting cost-effective farming solutions.
