SFC Quarterly Update: A Look Back at 2025; Different Paths to Clean Air; Exhibit on Indoor Heat and its Impact on Domestic Work, and More

Hello,

2025 was a significant year for SFC. We completed two years of work, grew to a team of 31, and held our first retreat to reflect on our journey and chart future directions. We released several landmark publications and deepened our engagement with states and civil society on climate, energy, and environmental policy. Here is a short wrap-up of what our year looked like.

In the last quarter, we released a brief that studies how countries across the Global South and North, such as Brazil, China, Germany, Mexico, Poland, South Korea, and the USA, have built and reformed their air quality regimes, and what India can learn from them to address the challenges ahead. We also presented an audio-visual exhibit on indoor heat and women’s carework, using thermal imagery and personal audio stories, at Godrej Design Lab’s Conscious Collective. Read the newsletter here
