**Second Quarter Update of The Timbaktu Collective

Output 2: Promotion of Community Initiatives
During the past three months, the Collective conducted training and review sessions for the directors of the Mahasakthi Women’s Cooperative Federation and the Prathibha Cooperative of Persons with Disabilities, including a detailed review of the Operational Manual to strengthen systems, ensure consistency, and improve cooperative governance. Science Day at Chennekothapalli engaged children through inclusive experiments and exhibitions, while International Women’s Day at Roddam Mandal brought women together through a rally, cultural programmes, and awareness sessions on women’s rights, health, and financial security. Preparatory work for the Model Villages through the SoTH approach also began with the selection of three villages GG Palli, Subbarayanpalli, Brahmanapalle through household-level baseline surveys. Together, these efforts are laying the foundation for stronger cooperatives, empowered communities, and locally driven village development.
