We are Scrapex AI — three co-founders from Surat, India’s
textile capital, building “Kachre Se Kalakriti” (Waste to
Creation).
What we do:
Users photograph their scrap. Our AI identifies the material,
shows market value, suggests upcycling ideas, and connects
them with verified kabadiwale — completely free for users.
Why Surat:
Surat generates massive textile waste daily with no organized
digital solution. Kabadiwale work without digital access or
fair pricing. We are fixing both.
Our 3-year impact goals:
- 1,00,000+ households onboarded in Gujarat
- 500+ kabadiwale digitally empowered
- Verified CO2 savings tracked for India’s carbon goals
- Replicable model for every industrial city in India
What we have built:
Working AI prototype live. Team of 3 co-founders. Agreement
signed. Company registration in process.
Funding needed:
Small grant support for 3 years to build Surat’s first
organized waste and carbon data ecosystem.
