We are glad to welcome 26 young leaders from across the country to our community of Changelooms: Youth Leaders in Climate Action (Young social entrepreneurs working on embedding climate action as a priority agenda in their vision and strategies to build climate positive communities). The community now is stronger than ever with 92 Changeloomers from 22 states representing 49 initiatives.

The Changelooms: Youth Leaders in Climate Action is a 3 year journey that focuses on:

Self: Deep self awareness, Learnability, Empathy, Relationship between climate and self, Reimagining psycho-socio-cultural-economic aspirations in the context of climate, Theory of mindset change

Climate action: Immersive experiences to gain exposure on a range of climate work, Initiating a community led and place focused initative on climate in their respective geographies

Communities: Co-creating spaces in communities that nourish young people creating pride and rootedness in their communities, Inspiring communities at large to rediscover their connection with the environment and make climate positive choices

Organization: Nudging to build robust processes, culture, people, shared leadership towards climate work
Changeloomers are working with communities on a range of initiatives focused on rewilding, renewables, agro-ecology, wildlife conservation, wetland restoration, waste management supported by thematic partners Wild Tales, Bindi International, Dhriiti, Ecological Restoration Alliance.
So far, 300 early stage youth led social enterprises from across the country have applied to the Changelooms journey indicating a growing interest amongst young people towards climate action
