Well said. Despite it being clear that the biggest problem with the fashion industry is the economic model which encourages over-production and over consumption, all the giants in the industry want to be sustainable just by using materials that are “sustainable”. In my opinion, this is just a ploy to continue their unsustainable business models.

Yeah. Fashion companies using the term ‘Sustainable’ is a whole another level of greenwashing. Using sustainable materials is again very controversial as several such materials result in creation of microplastics and they occupy only a portion of the materials in clothes.
