In Karnataka the Monsoons seemed to have delayed / Failed, lot of farmers dont know what to sow now.
Traditionally sowing pattern would change based on rainfall. But that knowledge seems to have been lost.

Here are a few thoughts from @abhishektiwari
Shorter duration millet crops could help. For example the dwarf ragi variety is a shorter quicker crop and can be sown if monsoons are late. The downside is that the hay is very little as the plant is smaller(equals no earnings on fodder), also the yields might be slightly lower.
Similar to this, there are 2 month alternatives to the 3 month crops farmers generally do across pulses, oilseeds, veggies etc.
