For Industree, this work is central to building resilient livelihoods for women under the [Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY - NRLM)Bamboo Subsector Initiative, while ensuring that enterprise-led demand for bamboo is aligned with responsible forestry practices and long-term ecological management. Industree is already working in two northeastern states, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh, and the collaboration with RFRI will further strengthen these efforts while enabling expansion into additional states.
