Hi there, I’m Dhwani - co-founder of Ecovia.
We are building India’s first packaging as a service for the e-commerce and hyperlocal businesses to help them switch to reusable packaging. We provide our reusable packages to brands on a pay-per-use basis and facilitate returns from the end-users by incentivising them to returns the packaging in exchange for exclusive rewards.
We conducted a pilot in Surat where we served close to 650 orders to validate our business and operations model, where we achieved a package return rate of 63%.
As for next steps, we’re set to launch in Bangalore with 12 niche brands while also working with warehouse aggregators and e-commerce aggregators to build a robust sales pipeline.
