As a member of the Committee to evolve an Eco-restoration Policy for the state of Chhattisgarh, Common Ground proposed socially and ecologically aligned policy choices for consideration by the state. The Government has indicated its willingness to consider, and we will be working with the Government and other committee members to integrate our priorities in drafting the eco-restoration policy. Such a policy may create better mechanisms for eco-restoration and release more finance for the restoration and conservation at landscape lens.
