I need hands to help me clean up after village festivals each year during feb (some conducted by HRCE). The plastic waste is not recycled after the event but gets into pristine hill areas and sides of highways and carried into forests by monkeys. I tried to single handedly collect it into big sized bags and by the time i collected around 56 big bags i got tired. I had appraled to HRCE supervisor and tenple authorities…they said they will take care and he did not put a single bin. I posted this in linkedin and my insta. Tagged authorities and opened a case in cpgrams…nothing worked. Have some ideas…i need volunteers to help me. I am ready to spend some money to buy big bins…but how and where to recycle. I approached sanmar chemplast CSR division. No response. It has been 5 years…during covid wax the only time the forest area was not polluted…any help appreciated.
