Dakshin’s conservation ethic is best described by the phrase “Khane Ke Liye Bachao”, which represents our deepest and the most fundamental connections with nature - that of food! We base conservation on a set of engagements with nature and natural resources that are utilitarian, sustainable, and cultural, while also being aesthetic. We strongly believe that communities should be able to exercise their right to food security, nutrition and livelihoods.
