We’re delighted to share this news, and invite you to the launch of our new project - India Sand Watch - which we’ve built at **Veditum India Foundation** in partnership with **[Ooloi Labs](http://ooloilabs.in/)**, & is supported by **[Rainmatter Foundation](http://rainmatter.org/)**.

When: 5pm to 7pm IST (UTC + 5:30), 10th August 2023

India Sand Watch is an open-data project enabling collection, annotation & archiving of data related to sand mining in India. We’re building collaborations and capacity for research, and for actors to take action.
